Arche (Arch)

Steel structure, 4500 liters of water, pre-biotic molecules necessary for life, plastic powders, plastic leaves, movement, light.

2013

This work aims to reproduce the elementary conditions from before the emergence of time and evolution: 4500 liters of water, purine bases, sugars, heat, movement, and a chosen pollutant. In its technique, the work closely imitates the natural processes, as if autonomous, in a rhythmic movement, like a clock. The arch is a hypothesis.
